Aside from the fact that we start the month of May celebrating labour – how else? – with a day off, for the International Worker’s Day, also on the 1st of May you can take a short trip to Arabia with the Arabian Nights event held at the EPIC SANA Algarve. What is your image of the Orient? If belly-dance and fortune telling mix with the aromas of exotic cocktails and appetizers in your mind, then you’ve nailed it! It’s exactly what the organizers have had in mind. Entertainment will know no bounds!
Nevertheless, you need to mind your cups, because the next day, on May 2nd, you are invited to a vernissage (of sorts) in Faro. The Art Fair in the capital city of the Algarve region will be hosted for the first time, featuring the participation of various artists and artisans from all around the country, present here to display their talents and exhibit their masterpieces. Held at the Municipal Market terrace of Faro, the event will start at 9 AM. Any artist with a sale stand can attend.
If you want to delve deep into the cultural heart of the Algarve, you simply must come to the Fine Wine and Food Fair in Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa between the 6th and the 10th of May 2015. Actors will join chefs and people to create and enjoy the best experience.
