The International Algarve Fair is planning to be a great event for kids, even though it is an International business fair however, it has managed to very successfully mix the business side with the feel of a traditional village festival by making sure that there are things to do and ways of entertaining family members of all ages, even those with four paws.

A massive amount of effort has been put into making sure that children enjoy themselves at the fair with an array of activities being organized and geared especially towards the younger generations.

Just like in previous years, the fireman of Lagoa will be back in the main arena alongside their big red fire-engine and water-hoses, a delight for children of all ages and for a small donations that goes to the Lagoa Bombeiros, children can sit at the wheel of the engine, sound the horn, spray the powerful hoses and even zip-line.

There’s also the colorful entertainers from Circo Pequeno who will be returning with their engaging activities such as plate-spinning, juggling and face-painting.

This year will also have an introductory class to children’s Yoga and several dance shows will be put on as part of the entertainment line-up.

There will also be a dedicated Fun Zone meant for especially energetic youngsters, complete with a bouncy castle and a bunch of other games.

With all of these activities it’s inevitable that tummies will grow hungry and when this happens there’s a vast range of restaurants in the main arena not to mention the several snack vendors.

Entry to the fair for children under 12 will be free whilst the tickets will only cost 3 Euros anyway.
