Conrad open a new hotel in the Algarve, the Conrad Algarve Hotel
The very Stylish resort of Quinta de Lago is the newest host for a Conrad Algarve Hotel.
The new hotel is designed with the more sophisticated traveler in mind, offering 154 contemporary guestrooms to their savvy customers. The Conrad Algarve Hotel is a very stylish gateway to this rather wonderful region of Portugal, we call the Algarve.
Being located on the coastal region of the Algarve means that the hotel is never a great distance away from wonderful beaches, nor from top notch golf courses, but thanks to this one’s location it is also set in the Ria Formasa National Park, in itself a wonderful place to visit.
The new Conrad Algarve Hotel features a striking exterior architectural design and modern interior décor, thanks to its collaborations with architectural firm Sigma and Portuguese interior designer, Miguel Cancio Martins.
There is a definite Moorish theme that influences the hotel’s overall design, after all, the entire edifice has the look of an 18th century Portuguese palace featuring different particular accent of the time, such as bespoke artwork and lighting. The 154 exquisite guestrooms are spread over six floors, and the entire place is meant to provide luxurious comfort, a lot of free space in a relaxing environment, while also offering all the latest communication technologies.
Besides all of these wonderful offerings, the hotel offers a true gastronomic haven for its guests, as well as for the locals thanks to the open plan restaurant Gusto, helmed by world-renown Michelin-starred chef Heinz beck. He is known for combining Mediterranean cuisine with design accents from Scandinavia.
But that’s not all, there’s also the Lago Lounge which offers a very stylish indoor and outdoor space where you can enjoy some of the very best champagne, classic cocktails as well as Sri Lankan teas.
