TAP future buyer will be prevented from firing personnel
Last year, in November, the Portuguese Government announced that they wished to re-launch a campaign of privatization and sell up to 66% of the TAP indebted airline. It was then settled that one or several large investors would buy the controlling stake of the airline in hopes that the affluence of new capital would save the business, which had begun to dwindle, burdened by debts of around 1 billion Euro.
