Portuguese tourism officials are celebrating a record-breaking August in terms of tourism revenue and the reason for this being that foreign tourists who otherwise would probably have visited the Middle East this year but went for a safe destination, choosing alternatives because of unrest in that part of the world.

This is strongly and directly linked to the Algarve because the Portuguese delegation will be made up of representative of the ministry of Agriculture as well as the Tavira council, and they will argue the case and claim the lifestyle diet for the Algarve.

Even though there’s been this constant mantra-like line going about the Algarve in recent times of “there is no money”, it appears that the Algarve coastline is set to receive a major 5.4 million Euro face-lift as part of a whopping 200 million Euro that will be spent on the entire country’s coastline.
