It’s September, it’s time to play golf in the Algarve
I guess you’ve already gotten used to this: if it’s September, it’s time to play golf in the Algarve. With its 300 days of sunshine and 40 world-class golf courses, the Atlantic shore of Portugal is one of the greatest places on Earth to practice this sport that requires attention, a cunning spirit and more precision than you’d expect.
Today, we thought we’d give you even more reasons to come visit the Algarve golfing destination, so here are the September 2015 events that might draw you to the soft green grass of one of the golf courses in the region.
For 45 EUR, on September 4th, you can attend the Charity Golf Day in Vale da Pinta. This golf course is one of the most fascinating in Europe, not in the least boring or common with its innovative design and rolling surface. Not to mention there is a particular feature that makes it unique: the age-old almond and olive trees that are scattered around the terrain. The star olive tree of the course that is aged 1200.
Two days later, on September 6th, you can take an Algarve golf transfer to Quinta do Lago golf course to attend the Series III. This golf course is equally dramatic, with a canopy of pine trees encircling a plain of wild scented flowers. Quite the idyllic place to play golf.
In Pinheiros Altos, on September 19th, you are invited to an Individual Single Stableford. Located in the famous Quinta do Lago estate, this course is truly a challenge and a thrill for both professional and amateur players. But the landscape, the vegetation and the song of the birds will provide a beautiful atmosphere.
Apart from the option of golf transfers everywhere in the Algarve, you can also use another transport option: Faro car rental straight from the airport, so you really have no pretexts left not to enjoy an exciting September playing golf and enjoying the shores of Portugal.
